Question: How much will my tattoo cost?
Answer: Pricing varies depending on size, placement, colors, etc. The price of your tattoo will be discussed during your phone/text consultation with Thea prior to your appointment. A deposit is required to hold your appointment date and time.
Question: Do you have a shop minimum?
Answer: Yes. Shop minimum is $80.
Question: What forms of payment do you accept?
Answer: Both cash and cards are accepted.
Question: What is a deposit and why do I have to pay one?
Answer: Tattoo deposits are a way of financially committing to your tattoo appointment. The deposit goes toward the cost of your tattoo. A deposit is a common practice to help protect the artist’s and studio’s work, time, and effort. We are reserving a portion of our day for you. Deposits help ensure that our clients show up for their appointments.
Question: How do I pay my deposit and is it refundable if I have to cancel my appointment?
Answer: Deposits can be made over the phone with a credit card or in person with cash/card. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERRABLE . If you call at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, you will be able to move your appointment to a different day and your deposit will still apply.
Question: What is your cancellation policy?
Answer: If you call at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, you will be able to move your appointment to a different day and your deposit will still apply. Rescheduling must be done on the phone during business hours for your deposit to be held in good standing. If you no-show your appointment or cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, your deposit is forfeited.
Question: Do you do cosmetic tattoos?
Answer: Yes. Thea does eyebrows, lip blushing, and permanent eyeliner.
Question: Do you accept walk-ins?
Answer: All tattoos are by appointment only with the exception of $30 Thursdays. Follow the Honey Heart Tattoo Facebook page to stay updated on when we have $30 Thursdays. NOT EVERY THURSDAY IS A $30 THURSDAY!
Question: Do consultations cost anything?
Answer: No. Complete and submit the form on the booking page of our website. Then, Thea will contact you for your phone/text consultation. Or you can make a plan with Thea to come to the shop for an in-person consultation.
Question: Can you tattoo minors?
Answer: No one under the age of 18 can be tattooed at all in the state of Wisconsin.
Question: Do you charge for touch ups?
Answer: There is no set price, it is at the artist’s discretion.
Question: Do you do cover ups?
Answer: Yes. Please refer to our booking page for directions on how to schedule a cover-up.
Question: Can I get tattooed if I am pregnant?
Answer: No.
Question: Can I get tattooed while I am breastfeeding?
Answer: Consult with your doctor.
Question: What is the wait time to get in for an appointment?
Answer: Appointment timing varies depending on the type, size, placement, etc. of your tattoo. In some cases we are able to schedule just a few days in advance, in other cases it could be a few weeks. It just depends. Thea will discuss when she is able to get you in for a tattoo appointment during your phone/text consultation. Please be patient as she makes every effort to get you in within a reasonable timeframe while also ensuring quality work for you and her other clients.
